I go through phases. Every now and then I feel like working on titles, then not... then again...
- When I don't want to work on titles, I don't. It's a game, I play for fun, if I don't have fun I either don't play or do something else. I'm currently in this phase and I found other stuff to do than my HoM.
- When I want to work on titles... I do. I can be pretty effing effective and get heavy farming done in a relatively short time. So when I want to do that... you bet I'm having fun.
I mean, why bothering with stuff you don't wanna do when it's a passtime? ('Cause GW's my passtime between university, my husband duties -lol- and sleep).

Dunno exact term but "Addiction regrets" springs to mind.

Life is unfair...boo-freakin'-hoo. Can we stop with the damned bitch threads about a game that is years away? It's just as unfair for the folks at Marvel to not release the story or villians that will appear in Spiderman 4 (also slated for 2010, i think)! Wait and see, quit whining, go outside and play...jeez.

Except Marvel just licensed the Spiderman IP; they have little involvement in the actual production of the movies. Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, and Punisher: Warzone were the first movies Marvel actually made themselves.

So, if you feel that grinding for hours and hours and hours and hours and..... for a skin is worth using your time then have at it, but please stop creating stupid threads saying ANet needs to let us know blah blah blah. Its your choice "Make it and deal with it!"
It really is that simple!

QFT..........roflmao.........yeah anyone expecting something uber leet may as well quit now and uninstall guild wars. whatever is transfered into GW2 will probably customized to the character or account too in order to prevent people from taking advantage of GW2 noobs who never played GW1. when i need a good laugh i go read the GWAMM thread here. all those people who dedicated their time on one character and rushed out to get GWAMM with GW2 still a long time off and the impending changes coming to the HoM.

I filled my HoM, because I wanted to. I'm not expecting anything fantastic in GW2, my prediction is it will be /bonus weapons and novelty skins, and if GW1 players do get anything useful like a PvE skill or a hero, there will be another way for GW2-only players to get it.
If building your HoM is a challenge you want to take up, then go for your life. But don't fill it up on the basis of inferred promises about a non-existent game. That's more like a Hall of Resentment.
Edit: Sorry, went all philosophical there.

aye same, i just hope after the release of GW2 Ncwest doon't screw over the titles, you know make then alot easier to attain as in lower rank tiers etc.
as some sort of incentive for new Gw2 players to buy Gw1.
not sure its plausible but just a theory

And now comes the problem. No one really knows what exactly each statue in the HoM will actually provide in GW2 (I believe that Anet themselves haven't yet decided). As far as I know, there has been a message that each weapon displayed in the HoM will be available in GW2 but I don't know if this is official or not.
displaying some statues requires an incredible amount of work and funds, specifically, obtaining and dedicating rare minipets (such as Yeti, Oni, Naga, Beetle, Zhed, etc.). Therefore, a very important question is:
Will dedicated minis be available in explorable areas and towns in GW2 or will they just be displayed in the HoM in GW2?
I know that this is not a democracy, and that Anet can do whatever they like. Nevertheless, I think that it is unfair that Anet are taking their time to decide and notify players of the HoM capacity in GW2. The mechanism has been introduced, utilizing it requires a lot of time and funds and the capacity of HoM in GW2 will directly affect each players decision as to if and how they want to fill their HoM. I also think that the past has shown that if enough people express their interest in something, Anet usually tries to help.
Opinions?

Pretty sure they probably don't even know themselves yet. I'm betting the main part of their work is currently on the gameplay and graphics, more than likely any bonus items and special weapons will be one of the last things on their list. And therefore one of the last things the will release info on.
